Patrik Antonius

Patrik Antonius is fairly one of the widely recognized players in modern history of poker; he possesses an impressive background which has earned him approximately $3,000,000 till this day.

He took up poker playing as a career since 2002 but started as an online poker player; as the web was and is till today, his playground, as it was there were he developed his poker playing skills.

After, Patrik moved to the US he increased his bankroll and won a satellite position for the WSOP where is where his star glowed.

Back in 2005, Antonius enrolled in the tournament circuit for good. He cashed in on two WPT tournaments, and he qualified for three WSOP events final tables, therefore making a total of almost $100,000.

His success continued to thrive as he gave an impressive performance on the EPT. He managed to rank in third position on the Main Event in Barcelona for $145,000 before heading to an almighty win on the EPT Baden classic for more than $340,000.

Patrik Antonius finished his year with his biggest cash payment in his history of poker playing. He ranked in second place on the WPT Five Diamond Classic, earning over $1,000,000.

His most recent accomplishment was landing on the final table of the first event of the 2008 WSOP ranking in seventh position and earning a total of $124,000.

It is well mentioned that Antonius is also an excellent tennis player and a good golfer. He has one daughter with his fiancée and he dedicates most of his free time to them.
