Doyle Brunson is the true poker legend, an original old school poker player, and one of the well established poker players alive.

The man behind DoylesRoom success has secured ten WSOP bracelets and is still successful in some of the highest cash games, Doyle Brunson has been an active poker player for more than 50 years now!

Born in Texas back in 1933, Brunson was brought up as a true sportsman, he played anything that included a ball and was also an ace on track running.

His upcoming career as a sportsman came to an end after a knee injury he suffered at work which was what sparked his career as a poker player.

Doyle Brunson is a college graduate and he has a Masters in Administrative Education, after he graduated he tried getting a normal job but soon realized that he was making more money playing poker so he decided to dedicate his time to the game therefore cultivating his talent.

Doyle married in 1962 and together with his wife Louise they had four children, including Todd Brunson which has followed his father’s footsteps and has become a successful poker player himself.

Doyle currently lives between Las Vegas and Flathead Lake in Montana as he maintains homes in both locations which he enjoys in change. You will find him online at his poker room on the regular bounty tournaments hosted each week.
